Here's a nifty little 28-page booklet published by the United States Brewers Foundation. Though it is undated, someone has written the date 1961 on the inside front page. It is a guide to an exhibit on beer and brewing in early New York City (not clear where and when the exhibit existed). Contains an interesting assortment of manuscript excerpts, newspaper articles, early correspondence, book excerpts, etc., all relating to the early days of drinking and brewing beer in NYC. Materials range from 1626 to 1862.
