Publisher: Wahl-Henius Institute, 1906.
Hard Cover, 775 pages, 5.5 x 8.0.
Item #1416

By the time this book was published in 1906, brewers everywhere had recognized that bottling was the future of the brewing industry. This technical manual issued by the world-famous Chicago brewing school, the Wahl-Henius Institute, was one of the first (if not the first) in-depth guide for bottling beer. Twenty-five chapters delve into every aspect of beer bottling, illustrated throughout with diagrams and charts. Also includes a number of advertisements for bottling equipment, machinery and supplies.

The book is very scarce. Only about a dozen copies have survived in American libraries.
