True, this is a book. But, really, it is far more of a brewery artifact. It is an oversized (8.5 x 13) volume published for brewmasters to record the daily details of their brewings. The first 64 pages contain articles and data for quick reference in the brewhouse. The remainder of the book consists of dated spaces for diary entries, these pages interleaved with gorgeous brewing related advertisements printed on pink paper. There are additional ads at the rear of the volume. The large size makes for strikingly handsome volume, with its bright gilt lettering against the navy cloth hard cover. This particular copy was never used, and so the book is very clean and there are no entries on the diary pages. This would make a nice addition for any serious collector of either books or breweriana.
