Many letters concern customer's accounts but also mention dinners and outings, the conduct of publicans, interview arrangements, signs outside pubs, dealings with trades people relating to pub fixtures and fittings, etc." Contains about 500 pages. Most are written and signed by H W. Dowson.

Condition: Poor. Significant damage to spine and heavy boards. Hinges are cracked, but are holding strongly. Inside pages are reasonably clean.
